Flamesinger — (2)
The Deep Reservoir
A large-bellied sable brush built for smooth transitions, feathering, glazing, and consistent paint flow across larger surfaces and extended blends.

Dreadfrost — (4)
Heavy Flow
A high-capacity sable brush designed for broad coverage, controlled shading, and large-scale transitions while maintaining a refined tapered point.

⛓️ Why Fat Belly?

Many experienced miniature painters prefer larger belly brushes because the increased paint reservoir creates smoother flow and more consistent paint release while reducing dry tip and constant reloading.

A properly shaped full-belly brush can still maintain exceptional precision while dramatically improving comfort and control during longer sessions.

The result:

  • smoother blends
  • cleaner layering
  • steadier paint flow
  • longer working time
  • less interruption

⛓️ How to Use / Care

Rinse often while painting—don't allow paint to dry in the ferrule

Clean after sessions and reshape the tip

Condition regularly to preserve point retention and snap

Full-belly sable brushes perform best when properly hydrated and conditioned

Pro tip: Pair with Wraithwax to cleanse, Edge Guard to condition, and restore natural bristles.

“First impression when I opened the box is these don’t feel cheap. The packaging is solid, the brushes are protected well, and the set feels intentional. You can't beat Kolinsky sable brushes."

  • PETER S.

“I’ve used a lot of Kolinsky brushes over the years, and the 5 Blades set surprised me. The snap is immediate, the belly holds more paint than I expected, and the point returns clean every time. I’ve been using them for glazing and fine edge highlights, and they feel balanced and predictable in hand. With proper cleaning and conditioning, they’re holding up incredibly well.”

  • JOSH C.

“Been really impressed with this setup. What I like most is that Graveforge actually pushes maintenance. Cleaning with Wraithwax and conditioning with Edgeguard keeps them performing way longer than I expected. For newer painters or experienced ones, this is a serious kit.”

After trying multiple low to high end brands of brushes, Graveforge is the ONLY one I keep coming back to and shouldering the weight of war with my hyper obsession.

Sick brushes!

These brushes are top tier. Razor sharp points, full brush bellies that hold lots of paint and keep the brush moving smoothly. They snap right back into shape after cleaning, as well. The yellow brush handles are so quickly identifiable, which I love. I find that cleaning acrylic off of the handle is much easier than other brushes, which keeps them looking super nice. Highly Recommend!
